Sotong Gula: Unpredictably Sweet

So I told mr fiance I only had sotong gula for dinner.

Me: Ayg tgk tv jap citer jodoh.. Ok bb kuar dulu k..Ayg lapart tapi tahan sket sebab nak diet..

After a while..

Me: Bb dah makan?
Tunang: Baru sampai rumah. Tak sanggup makan sebab b diet makan sotong gula je:)

Wedding Preparation Eps 3

Not much done for my wedding except for PLANNING.
Lols pretty much worrying eyh?
As of today:

1) Photographer & his hospitality: DONE. Siap dapat diskaun lagi for his stay. Alhamdulillah.
2) Baju nikah: Siap of this month. Moga semuanya smooth.
3) Kad jemputan: Siap next week. Tunggu ya rakan2, I will distribute accordingly.
4) Pengapit: Ambil cousin sendiri je haha.
5) HIV Test and all the forms: DONE.
6) Pelamin: Identified.
7) Hiasan meja makan pengantin: Identified
8) Design for bridal room: DONE. Cuma nak tunggu beli barang2 macam bedsheet, curtains, rug, mirror and table lamp. Oh oh I tak reti sgt interior design ni. Huehue.

Cincin for him belum beli.
Kasut nikah (Tiffany blue) belum jumpa.

Oh oh headache dan tak gemar sgt writing about this.

On the other hand, life is pretty much normal. Works are fine.
Last week, for the first time ever I approached my boss and asked for a transfer to tanah melayu.
As I expected, boss suruh tunggu until my service with Petronas becomes 4 years which will be this Sept.
I ada juga risik2 position di Petronas tempat lain, jumpa juga positions tapi not as same as what I'm doing now.
But still an engineer position. I just love the location.
Tapi ya la, not that easy to get release from boss here:((

Whatever la kan..
Next, I tunggu my fiance survey baju wedding kami.
Surprisingly, he is kinda cerewet juga.
Kuang2.

I will write more.

A Curse

Wedding Preparation Eps 2: The Ring and Hantaran

When I first saw this ring, I fell in love.
Until now:)

Next, I went shopping today. The whole Sunday spent with shopping and ring resizing. Yes, ring yang I beli tu longgar. Haha since masa beli tu size takde, I insist nak design tu jugak, then I went for resizing je. Settle. I know people offered me ring guard and told me that after kawen jari akan besar and all.

I know dearies. Tapi I tak gemar ring guard tu sume, rimas dan risau akan damage/scratch my ring. Resizing your wedding ring is actually a motivation not to gain weight in the future:p

Ok, below is the hasil tangkapan untuk hari ini. 3 handbags- 1) For mommy 2) Sister 3) Own hantaran 

Simple je, I love all of them. Alhamdulillah Singapore sedang sale.

My Work: The Love-Hate Relationship

You know, I don't really like writing about my working life. It's no fancy like what other women are doing.
Takpe, bila saya stress sgt pasal kerja, saya fikir saya ni kene bersyukur.
Ituuuu saja my motivation, other than money la kot.
Of course I need the money.
Hehe. Tapi jangan lupa konsep bersyukur tu.
Ok, back on track.
This is rather a good news for me.
Last year 2012 I received a very good Personal Performance Appraisal rating.
I'm really really happy for it, Alhamdulillah.

Thanks bosses for trusting me.
Hehe.
And for all yang belum tahu, my workplace is in Bintulu, Sarawak.
Far far away land from home, I know.

Hence, I missed a lot of things.
Friends events, some catch ups, meetings, hatta nak pilih baju pengantin pun Mr. Fiance terpaksa tolong.
Dengan bantuan kakak iparku. hehe Thanks kakak:).

Ok, back to working life.
This year, insyaAllah I will do better and keep the momentum to strive for the best.
I think the satisfaction at workplace is my boss' trust.
And of course good results/whenever I solve problems.

See, takde yang fancy about my work. Huehue.
Oklah, dah 3 entri ni.

Wedding Checklist

Salam friends and readers, I would like to jot down the checklist for my wedding.
Saya ni cepat juga lupa, here's the list:

1. Tempah baju nikah: 12/1
2. Tempah kad kahwin: 12/1
3. Cari kain untuk seisi keluarga: 12/1 (Ya Allah semuanya nak buat hari tu, sempat ke? hehe)
4. Cari hand bouquet. Saya kalau boleh taknak fresh flower. But who knows if I change my mind later?:)
5. Wedding dress selection & fitting: Chinese New Year. 9 or 10/2.
6. Wedding shoes: During my business trip to singapore nanti. Haha. Harap2 sempat cari barang sikit di sana.

banyak lagi dalam kotak minda, nanti saya tambah ya.

Wedding Preparation Eps 1

Salam and hai all..
Dah lama tak update blog. Busy? Takla sangat.
Tapi sejak balik bertunang hari tu, memang sibuk sedikit. SEBELUM tunang lagi la.
EVERY week saya balik malaya tau.
Duit dalam bank dah makin pupus ditelan dek kapal terbang. Haha..
Anyways I will be getting married in less than 3 months.

Preparation? I would say about 20%.
Sigh worrying tak? Haha takpe kita cuba chillax ok..Jangan gelabah.
Alhamdulillah setelah survey sana sini, minta quotation, call macam2 orang, akhirnya jumpa juga my official wedding photographer.
InsyaAllah gambar-gambar saya nanti cantik. cewah.

Next? MUA. I prefer sekitar utara, senang dan jimat kos transportation. Kalau anda nak recommend, silakan:).

Next? Theme. Since bertunang haritu dah guna tema purple (last minute). Haha baju tunang agak menarik ceritanya sebab semuanya last minit. Baju dan tudung semua beli one day before my engagement.

Makanya, wedding on my side saya mahu PINK. Oh I think I look good in pink. Haha.
Nikah dah MINT GREEN, wedding apa salahnya saya nak pink kan? Reception I'm not sure yet.
Mama di sana suggest maroon.
Will see how Mr. Fiance thinks about it.

Tugas Mr. Fiance adalah mencari baju wedding kami. Dalam hal ni, saya serahkan 100% kepada dia.
Photographer biar saya yang cari..
So I trust his taste la, fuh agak challenging biar lelaki carikan baju. Haha.
InsyaAllah OK.

Apa lagi ya? Kalau sempat, saya nak cari sendiri kasut untuk weddingku.
Selalunya kasut sewa ni tinggi sangat atau pun tak kena dengan taste kita.
Takpe, kalau ada kasut cantik apa salahnya.
We'll see how.

Kad? Next week saya balik kl, akan cari sama-sama di samping tempah baju nikah.
Also cari barang hantaran sikit2.

Penatnya fikir..

Alhamdulillah my engagement went smoothly.
Simple and sweet, orang yang cakap la..Hehe. I pun fikir macam tu. hihi
